Christmas in July

Okay, so I had a phone call this weekend about Christmas orders already... now, this person wasn't actually ordering "Christmas themes paintings", but I thought I'd post a few anyway! This is perhaps my favorite thing to paint and I think I'm going to be in the mood way early this year. It is my favorite season and I can't wait to share my Christmas cheer with you! Until then I hope you'll enjoy my painting titled "He Came" (11x14 stretched canvas) which can be personalized with your favorite Christmas scripture and also the "Rejoice Tree" (8x8 panel) which should look a bit like a Christmas tree made out of a quote!

Sorry it's been so long....

Hello all! I do apologize for not posting since last week... I have been in the middle of a job change and a couple of major church projects so I have been a bit of a slacker in the painting world. But, rest assured it will not continue! I will do my best to post more often :)

These few pieces are all still "in progress". A few more details and some finishing ribbon and they'll be good to go! You'll notice I tried something new with the 2 boys names in that the squares and circles are not equally apart, centered, etc... and some of you know how obsessive compulsive I am! Happy Birthday Raiza!!!

Today is my dear friend Raiza's birthday! This is a special 16x20 done for this coffee hyper nut! It says, "With enough coffee... I could rule the world!" Enjoy...and sorry for the poor photo quality. I didn't have my camera, so I had to borrow one!!!

Here's a cute little door hanger I did for my friend Rosemary to give at a baby shower this weekend... This 8x10 was done to match Baby Clark's nursery and finished with a glossy coat and ribbon for hanging! Enjoy!

This is the finished version of the "Pick me! Pick me!" canvas. The buyer chose Psalm 16:7,8 for the scripture! What a great Psalm... I am glad it inspires others as well! Enjoy!

Baby Monogram!

Just thought I'd post a pick of this monogram I did last night! A co-worker decided she'd like to have something done for a shower this weekend and today was the last time I would see her at work so I threw this together on a whim... Hope you enjoy it! It is a custom piece and matches the nursery bedding...

Whimsical Wedding...

Here is a just a sample of one of my "Whimsical Wedding" canvases. Most of the paintings I do for weddings are custom orders, but these I keep in stock and can be done in any color! I've had several requests for Honeymoon door hangers and this is one example of that! I usually put the Bride & Groom's names and the wedding date on the canvas.
